Satta Matka originally started as a lottery game in the early 1960s. This means that this game is older than India's independence. It originated a long time ago and was called Ankada Jugar meaning gambling of figures. During earlier times, the system had multiple ways of generating numbers, all of them being randomly generated and picked. In one way, slips had to be pulled from an earthen pot or a Matka. While in the other way, cards were dealt with to generate numbers. This way the game of Satta Matka emerged in India and spread across the world
Kalyanji Bhagat
Kalyanji Bhagat was born in the little village of Ratadia, Ganesh Wala in Kutch, Gujarat. He showed up as a migrant in Bombay in 1941 and at first did random temp jobs, for example, masala feriwala (flavor dealer) and also workedin grocery store. Kalyanji family name was Gala and the name Bhagat, an alteration of bhakt, was a title given to their family by the King of Kutch for their religiousness. During the 1960s, when Kalyanji Bhagat was running a daily needs shop in Worli, he began matka betting by accepting wagers dependent on the opening and shutting paces of cotton exchanged on the New York Cotton Exchnage. He used to work from the compound of his house, Vinod Mahal, in Worli. After Kalyanji Bhagat, his child Suresh Bhagat dealt with the business alongside his significant other Jaya Bhagat whom he wedded in 1979.
Rattan Khatri, known as the Matka King, from the 1960s to mid-1990s controlled an across the nation illicit betting system with international associations. Terminology
Satta - This Hindi term refers to some kind of gambling or betting.
Matka - The word Matka is derived from the Hindi word meaning an earthen pot. These pots have been bought to use for drawing numbers while playing Satta Matka.
Single - It means any number ranging from 0 to 9 used for betting.
Jodi/Pair - It is a pair of two digits between 00 and 99 (e.g. 65)
Patti / Panna - A three-digit betting result. All of these three-digit numbers are called patti / Panna.
Farak - The Farak is the overall difference between the closing and opening result (e.g.if the jodi/pair is 37, 7-3; the farak is 4)
SP/DP/TP - SP stands for Single Patti e.g. 186, DP stands for Double Patti e.g. 664, and TP stands for Tripple Patti e.g. 777
Open result / close result- The result of Satta Matka is usually divided into two parts. The first one is termed as an open result and the second one as the close result.
Berij - The Berij is called as the last digit of jodis/pairs sum. (e.g. if pair is 65, berij is 6+5 = 11; last digit is 1; means berij is 1)
Cycle Patti- The last two digits of the Panna /Patti are called the cycle patti or cp (e.g. if the patti is 123, the cycle patti is 23)
